Do Your Part to Help Ukraine

Fundraise for Ukraine this Thursday Night by coming to our Shoreditch Art Show. On Thursday 31 March from 19:00-1:00 GMT at Basing House, Shoreditch (25 Kingsland Road, London, E2 8AA), I am participating in a live painting competition fundraiser. Vote for the winner, enjoy spoken word, funky beats, comedy, and drama too. There are many ways to help Ukraine: by attending our fundraiser event, participating in demonstrations and protests, signing the petition at, and more.

From attending the demonstration on Saturday, I realised that we can all demonstrate and protest, but at the end of it all, we need love and kindness to prevail. Some of us may be closer to the incident than others, but it is important for us to do our best to help in whatever ways we can, and, most importantly, practice kindness and love to all, whether they are Ukrainian, Russian, or others.

“As a flame, a flag is waved,
but behind the motion…
is a breath that pants in fear.
Its body does what must be done.
No one really wants to die,
But knowing that the world in which we live is shrinking –
no not climate change –
does it work?
sort of.
never fear corruption is never far away, but this
resemblance of something is as awful as an autocratic ruler.
I hear and I see
this demonstration is my part being played
my benefit gig on Thursday will be my effort made,
as I look for new ways to help.
I was informed that the red cross should be delivering humanitarian aid,
bugt they are not in Mariupole,
I am informed they have set up shop in Russia
so for help to be given remember Ukraines want to remaine in Ukraine and not be shipped to a foreign land –
we need to agree to live in peace,
it means you can enjoy the sun the beach the sea and breathe the air.
smell the flowers and ….”
