This month, I am thrilled to share with you some very special news. My digital drawing of Jama has been selected for the Brixton open exhibition at Brixton Library from 3 - 27 July. The opening is Monday 3 July 6-8pm, Brixton (Tate) Library, Brixton Oval, SW2 1JQ

I drew Jama after meeting him at the Colour Walks, he is a mental health support worker, he gets his clients to choose the colours he wears.

I am excited by the fact that this digital painting captivated the judges, as it was created and crafted using a digital drawing board, much the same as using paper and pen It's important to understand the original is a digital image.

 

Drawing in this way still enables me to keep my unique colourful palette and artistic style.   There is a People's Prize to be won too in this show, so please come and support me by voting for my piece.
